Paul Zabihi
Production Designer, Art Director & Producer
Paul Zabihi is a Production Designer, Art Director and Producer with over 25 years of experience in film, television, and commercials. A postgraduate of the Royal College of Art, he has collaborated with leading directors, designers, and producers across a diverse range of genres, including period drama, action, comedy, and sci-fi.
​Paul’s work as Production Designer and Art Director has earned multiple awards and nominations, including recognition from BAFTA and the Academy Awards for films he has helped devise, design and deliver.
His work as producer includes drama film Rotten Apple, which was nominated for the Berlinale Golden Bear and won the Prix UIP award.
Trained in traditional cinematic design techniques, Paul is equally at home with digital tools, from concept art and 3D modelling to VFX workflows.

Beginning his career as a public artist and sculptor for Claes Oldenburg, Andy Goldsworthy, and Antony Gormley, he later retrained for film and rose through the art department ranks, going on to establish the design studio Rocket & Custard.
A hands-on designer with strong visual communication skills, Paul thrives on world-building, complex set design, and adapting real locations into cinematic spaces.
Paul joins Picture on the Wall Productions to lead design and explore innovative methods of production.
